Staff Accountant

Our boutique accounting firm in Oakville, is looking for an A player who is Enthusiastic, efficient, proactive and hungry to grow. Roles and Responsibilities:

Use knowledge of accounting concepts to provide bookkeeping and accounting services
Prepare compilation (Notice to reader) files and produce financial statements.
Prepare Individual and Corporate tax returns.
Prepare US tax returns. (training will be provided although exposure to this would be a bonus)
Perform any other related duties

Education and Skills Requirements:

2-3 years of Canadian public accounting experience.
CPA student or similar from another country
Familiar with Quickbooks, Tax Prep software. Caseware would be a bonus
Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
Great interpersonal skills and desire to provide extraordinary service to clients.
Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
Very fluid with Microsoft Office tools and be able to embrace innovative technology
Be able to take initiative and have attention to detail.

Education:
Bachelors degree in Business/Accounting or a College diploma in Accounting
Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a Public Accounting firm
Compensation:

Measured with experience
